Okay kids,
The true Sloan geek and supporter in me wants you to know that the men will be putting out their NINTH studio album on June 10 (the day before my birthday - just so you know)!!!
This will be their second release in the past two years, which is pretty good for the mildly aging rockers. Even I can admit that they are not the same youngins that bursted on the scene 17 years ago.

Andrew Scott is trying to sound like Bob Dylan, who I admire, but I don't know how it will work out. But since it is Andrew, I will not judge until I hear. I believe Jay Ferguson may be the one out of the quartet who is improving the most with age. I want to hug him today.
Speaking of Bob Dylan...48 hours until I will be sitting back, and tapping my toes to his sounds.

See you at Dylan! (We seem to have similar awesome taste in music, okay.) His voice sounds like an old sock, now, but I am cool with that.
I saw Sloan when I was in Ottawa last year. Honestly, I only knew one of their songs and I had drank a bottle of wine. I enjoyed myself thoroughly but kept asking what band we were listening to.
